The Milken institute recently named Provo-Orem as the No. 1 best regional economy in the U.S., besting longtime favorite San Francisco. There were two more Utah cities in the Milken’s top 10: Salt Lake City at No. 4 and Ogden at No. 9. The institute states that the top cities on their list launched strategies that helped them effectively use their assets and allowed them to thrive despite economic challenges.
