Guided tours of Range Creek Canyon in the Carbon Corridor provides a visit to active archaeological sites and to learn how archaeologists read the ancient landscape. Range Creek Canyon is unique in that it was preserved by a local farmer before selling it to the state in 2003. The valley is undeveloped, and its archaeological sites are untouched.
